Disease of the Feline Cervix

Table of Contents

General considerations

The feline cervix is such a small structure and it is rarely examined so lesions would go undetected unless there is an effect on other parts of the reproductive tract. The literature is, not surprisingly, sparse.

Cervicitis

Inflammation of the cervix would be expected to accompany endometritis. cervicitis, as a primary and solidary lesion, would not be recognized.
